my 2000 chev silverado 1500 front brakes will not
release completly. both wheels. brake pressure on
the pedal builds the more theyre applied. could
mastet cyl be going bad?
Possibly but there are a few other things it could be, first I would flush the system completely, the reason is you may have too much moisture in the system and when it gets used the moisture turns to steam and starts to set the brakes, once it cools of the brakes are fine until they warm back up, the next thing is the rubber brakes hoses, they and do break down internally and will let pressure by one way but not back out, this is really common of the front hoses, not much on the rear unless it has run over something.
