Do I put coolant into my radiator or overflow
tank

Into the overflow tank if it is just a little low. Put it straight into the radiator if you are installing new coolant. Do this with the engine cool, not hot!

I remember an old man that used to say good gobblely goo. But anyway the over-flow tank while its running.
