67 Cutlass with 330 engine, valve stem issue.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I pulled the cam out of the 330 engine today and noticed that the pushrods are shinny and wearing where they go through the bottom of the head. Is this normal or do we have the wrong heads on this motor? I do not recall ever seeing valve stems where going through the head. Need some help on this please??????
