why am i getting water on both floor boards front and back on passenger and driver side

I have put silicone on front windshield had seals check on door said there in good shape it is soaked only on the bottom of the floor boards not any sides or seats seems when it rains I get more water / what is the heater core or heating coil?

Does the wetness smell of anti-freeze? If it does it may be the heater core. If not, on a warm dry day when you wash the car or go to a car wash, does it become wet again? Then I'd look at the job you did to the windshield.

Your car may have rusted underneath as well, not the most likely thing, but I owned a 1998 cav and it happened to mine, every time I would hit a puddle it would soak the passenger side floor board would be soaked.
