2002 Chevy Tahoe dying

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. I bought a new battery
in August. My back glass window/door is broken
and it won't close. It's been open for a very long
time. A couple days ago I cleaned the car and my
dad and I decided to try and close it. We got it
closed and the lights wouldn't go off. So we turned
to dome lights off. In the message board it says
security which it does Everytime a door is open.
The message board said cargo door ajar but it was
closed. So now the glass won't close and it still
says ajar. which it didn't say before when it was
opened for so long. Well Saturday the battery was
dead I got it turn over and crank up. Didn't have
problems. Monday morning it was dead drove to
school. Cut it off. Got in around 30 minutes later it
cranked up drove 5 miles home and turned it off.
Went to get in about 5 minutes Utes later and it
was dead. Charged it and drove back to school.
Cut it off and immediately tried to turn it back on to
see if it would and it was dead already. Wouldn't
even turn over. Why is it doing this?
