i need to know any problems i may run into when purchasing a custom stereo system

i'm gonna purchase a new system, i currently have the stock system, with only four
presets. what should i do? i feel overwhelmed and dont wanna make a mistake in the
purchase

Think about driving....think about being able to "feel" for the controls...any one that has a "mode" or "select" to have to fiddle with will not be the one because you're going to take your eyes off the road to monkey with submenus...connecting an I-pod type player is the worst because not only to you have to make the "house system" come down to a decent level will be takin' the eyes off the road even more with this...yes...keep it simple and avoid collisions~

Do a lot of research- there are a million systems out there, and installing a system the correct way is complicated and difficult- if you don't know what you're doing, my advice is to get a pro to do it- it's expensive, but cheaper than makin' lots of mistakes
