what do no charge mean

I have a 85 caddy and i had to do a bypass on it. After that the fan stop working and i guess it got hot and  when that happen the temp settings,speed hand, and the fan stop working. Now the light in the dash says on saying no charge. What wrong and what do I need to do to fix this?

no charge means your alternator is not workin. Dependin on what you bypassed i would imagine thats what started all that. try to unbypass
