2.2 engine -- Coolant streaming out under the engine.

Asked by lesterco Nov 04, 2014 at 08:09 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I thought it was the water pump and replaced it, but as I pour fluid in, it starts streaming
out within just a minute.  Hoses seem fine.  Metal pipe connecting to the engine seems
fine.
Does the 2002 2.2 engine have freeze plugs, and where are they located?

Yes they do. Go to YouTube and watch a video on how to find them.

Thank you for responding. I had looked on youtube but did not find anything. I have searched again but to no avail. Did you have a video in mind?
