Winter tire/wheel of choice?

hi guys,
just got a 2008 suburban and i'm wondering if i need to get winter tires. i live in boston and drive up to NH to ski most weekends. i didn't bother with snows on our denali xl we just traded and short of a hand full of situations over 3 years can't say i missed them. any opinions out there?

no not really tires today are more or less all weather tires.this decision is up to to you.
