What do you think is wrong if my heater in the car blows hot air when accelerated on the road and then blows cold air?

Asked by flojo Nov 21, 2013 at 08:52 AM about the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dodge caravan blows hot air for a little bit while accelerated and then cold.  If I shut it off for a little bit and turn it on it blows hot.  What can it be and is it an inexpensive fix? Is this something I can try to fix it myself?
