My car lights are staying on, security light blinking on dash and my key will not start engine now.  I have tried locking and unlocking with remote and that does not do anything.

could you disconnect the negative cable...wait five seconds then put it back? Does this do anything?...sources tell us your headlight switch is bad...can this be true?

sounds like the car doesnt like the key your using. It has either lost the programming for the key for some reason or your using the wrong key. When it comes to issues with the security systems the dealer is best suited to work on these issues

you could try taking the cable off as judge said its a long shot but anything is worth a try to wave off the tow truck.

I'm going to look at your fusebox to see if there is a fuse we can pull to avoid this whole mess~
