Where are the ignition coils located on a 2008 Ford fusion

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Having trouble with the PCM and the ignition
coils not sure exactly where the ignition coils
are located could really use some help
thanks!

The ignition coils should be on the spark plugs. Newer vehicles have individual coils for each spark plug. You have to remove the coil to get to the spark plug.

MDH44 is exactly right. If you were to buy a set of coils this is what you get

When I stop at a stop light or stop sign my car starts to shake really bad. Went to auto zone cause my check engine light came on and that's what they told me the issue was.

Yes the check engine light is on. When I stop the car shakes and sometimes acts like it's going to die. A couple of times it has died
