2008 VW jetta car wont start?

i just bout the car they gave me 2 keys for it i used the key all day but then tried to use the spare... now the car wont open the trunk or start lights come on and headlights work but it ist turning over or even trying to.. any ideas?

the one key is a dummy , it won't start the car , they have a chip in them that tells the car to run
