You may have a leak in the system and need a recharge of the system...
If the system has freon in it your compressor may need replacing. Look to see if the clutch engages when you turn the AC on. If the freon is low the clutch may not engage.
Must be nice to live somewhere you need to run the AC lol, I'm in the north east right now, with "Stella".

the condenser was replace the unit was out of Freon for about 6 months and when we replaced the condenser and put 12 oz of Freon in it the compressor never com on but the cooling fans would come on .h...
