My convertible top tonneau cover flaps won't open are close automatically.

2006 Crossfire, convertible top , everything works FINE except the flaps on
the tonneau cover do not flip up or fold down automatically. I have to hold
them , so I can put the top up.

If you are not having other troubles with the car I would go to a Mercedes dealer and have your problem looked at. It sounds like a simple fix for a qualified person
