2008 F350 Super Duty Diesel Recall

Asked by nico2me Jun 04, 2008 at 05:55 PM about the 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The overview here states: "Ford has recalled all the Super Duty trucks with diesel engines: a problem with the temperature control software presents a danger of tailpipe fires." However, the Regional Technical Engineer of Ford in our area and Ford Dealers say there is no recall on the the 2008 F350 Super Duty Diesel. Who shall I contact to confirm? Thanks.

Is anyone else having power and mileage issues since the regen kit recall? Power is now non-existent while the exhaust filter cleaning is taking place, mileage dropped in half. this sucks!
