04 Chevy venture cooling fan not turning on

My 2004 Chevy Venture overheats badly last year
my boyfriend I believe, disconnected the fan relay
switch which allowed for the fans to constantly
run? Can you tell me if this is correct and if it is
correct can you point me in the direction of a
diagram so that I can find out where the fan relay
switch is

I believe he unplugged your coolant temp sensor. I believe that sensor should be in thermostat housing. Can you find thermostat housing?

bbbind.com should have wiring diagrams for radiator fan. The diagrams are free to look at.
