Car won't accelerate when I press the pas pedal.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

My Chevy Trailblazer's (2004)  Gas pedal doesn't seem to be working. The car starts fine but when I press the Gas pedal down it doesn't rev. I tried it in reverse and drive but nothing happened, I pressed it all the way down to the floor. I was wondering if it had something to do with it being about 15 to twenty below zero recently since there was never any problem before. I'm going to go check and make sure all the fluids are at the right levels in case that might be the problem. If they aren't the problem what else could it be?

Check your owners manual to see if your vehicle has electronic throttle if so check for a blown ( ETCS ) fuse. Electric Throttle Control System fuse.
