Blower motor, resistor or something else

2004 Malibu MAXX - heater runs erratically - just replaced the blower motor, runs nicer (stronger) than previous one, but still same problem. Does not run on any speed or runs on all speeds. Doesn't seem to matter if I 'hit a bump' or kick the dash, etc. Is it the resistor? Or something else? This Chevy has had lots of electrical issues. The temps control is up/down buttons. The blower speed is a dial. And has the selection / option for "Automatic" on the speed and as well as where the heat comes out such a windshield, feet, vents, etc). I don't want to drop $130+ into a new resistor if its something else. Thx.

The risistor is what controls the fan speed,sounds like it is the issue if you done replace fan motor.
