How do I get my Fiero to idle

Asked by Luke Apr 22, 2020 at 10:53 PM about the 1986 Pontiac Fiero

Question type: Car Customization

Hello, I have a 1986 Fiero kit car, all of the vacuum
hoses were broken so I blanked them all off. The
egr hose was broken so I blanked that off too the
only code I have is code 34 that’s for the MAP
sensor so I replaced it and still had the code the
dizzy is brand new and I’ve taken the throttle body
off and there seems to be no problems. Iac seems
to be working with it moving up and down when the
car is running. The car can idle at about 2500rpm
for 15-20 seconds before needing throttle. The TPS
has been adjusted so that we get exactly 0.5v, any
help would much be appreciated.
