If your check engine light is flashing the engine is misfiring. Visit your local auto parts store and let them scan the computer for trouble codes to find out which cylinders are misfiring. Code P0302, for example, is cylinder number 2 misfire. Then check for spark at the misfiring cylinder. If you have spark, check the fuel injector. Make sure it's electrical connector is plugged in. If so, remove and inspect the spark plug on the misfiring cylinder. If it's ok, compression test the misfiring cylinder. A compression reading of under 100 PSI will cause a misfire. HTH. -Jim

X2^^^^^^^^^^ the engine code will tell you which bank the misfire is occurring on. You could try to check it yourself. Pull each plug out, one should stand out at you, either wet, oily etc. If you see oil- compression test If a strong fuel smell check for loose connector, voltage at the coil and plug wire. Hope this helps
