Did you look behind the glove box ? Open the glove box in the dashboard and look behind it, that's where Subaru puts them .
I own the same 2007 Mkz and have the closed system too. There has to be a way
The cabin air filter on my 2007 LIncoln MKZ seems to be sealed so how so you open to change the filter?
