2004 chevy express drivers door handle removal?

Asked by PaulArteaga Jan 08, 2017 at 12:44 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Express

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The plastic bolt slots that hold the handle in place
have broken and I am trying to replace it. I've
gotten as far as taking the nuts off the inside of
the handle. With the limited view I can not see if
there is something else I should take off as well. I
can't get the door handle out. The rods I know have
to come out but is the a diagram or video that cam
help me remove it? Please help tired of jumping
thru the passenger side.
