2007 Kia Rio Head gasket & water in oil
A friend of mine has a 2007 Kia Rio for sale
for $400. He says the head gasket needs to
be replaced and there has been or possibly
still is water in the oil. He says the car runs
fine no smoking or overheating issues. I'm
wondering if it's even worth it to try to repair
Just head gasket replacement can be risky. If the block or cylinder head is too warped or damaged, they must be replaced. Price out a motor and see what the bottom dollar is to put a Remanufactured (best) motor and buy the car.
A warped head can be machined flat if not too bad but have it checked for cracks too.
