2007 Kia Spectra Gas Cap

I just bought a 2007 Kia Spectra literally a week ago... it has been in the shop twice already one for the heater not working and the other for all the service lights coming on and it kept stopping on me. When i picked it up the mechanic said it was my gas cap coming loose but that they had tightened it and it is now okay but the check engine light has came back on and autozone said the same thing its the gas cap... is this an easy fix or should I be worried?
