crank no start, no power to PCM fuse, no dash lights, no Tach signal,  car died while driving

Did you ever figure out the problem. I'm having the same issues,

Yup, I guess there can be too much current flow threw the ignition switch, I replaced the ignition switch, not the tumbler. The switch is on the opposite side of the tumbler. After I replaced the switch, I had power again at the ECM power pin. Try taping on the switch and see if it starts. Losing the dash lights led me to the no power issue at the ECM.

The ECM is very easy to get to, engine compartment pass side, right by the firewall. Check for power going to the ECM and a good ground.
