Cavalier issues NEED HELP

Asked by Sheana Jan 21, 2013 at 04:20 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

went out to start my car wouldnt turn over. Called someone to jump me....didnt work.
Called my cousin....eneded up replacing the starter...still didnt turn over.
Recharged the battery it finally started up.
Now everytime i hit my brakes the ABS, service and trac light come one. My headlights go off and on by itself and also my temp gauge goes completley down to 100 when it normally sits at 195.
What do ya think??

It means that your battery and electrical running system probably isn't getting enough power. This happens when the alternator isn't charging properly. I would recommend that you get the alternator tested and replaced.
