turn signals not working, dash lights working, not the signal blinker in the dash though

my turn signals stopped working, not only that, but the flashing indicator on my
dash isnt working either.. wanting to hear ideas about what it could be, i cant
afford to take it to a shop so i have to do this myself.. its not the bulbs, and its
not the fuse i already checked both of those. what could it be?

I had a 96 Monte Carlo with the same issue. Turned out being the blinker switch itself. I don't know if it is that in your case but it is another culprit down the line of things to go wrong.
