Light on dash say: "Range Low" what does this mean? Thanks

It means that your four wheel drive system is in "low range" for about three times more pulling power and four wheel drive. Don't drive on dry hard surfaces while in this four wheel drive low range mode. Use it only on snow or slippery surfaces so you don't bind, strain and break the drive train. It's your "transfer case" gear box that gives you this extra range of low gears.
