Cooling Fans

Recently, at first start up, the cooling fans immediately run up thus lengthening the time it takes for the engine to get up to its operating temp, thus creating a very cold interior because the heater becomes useless. Reasons why?

Possibly the sensor that tells the fan(s) when to some on. It is a separate sensor than the temp gauge

Pull the cooling fan fuse until you find out what is wrong. Keep an eye on your temperature gauge. Get the codes read to see if the ECU is turning the fan on.
