Question type: Maintenance & Repair

was gone for a month; car wouldn't start AAA came out and said battery is fine
it is the starter.  Showed my husband how to start car so we could drive it to
Jaguar mechanic.  Called mechanic and he said starting it that way could
cause other problems  When I reminded him it was a 2003 he back pedaled.  
Will it hurt to start the car so I can get it to mechanic.

I would not start the car that way, tow her in for the repair !
