Thermastat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Upper rad. hose outlet broke so I
used  epoxy for a quick fix Could I
leave the thermostat out so
there's no pressure, until I can get
another radiator ?

It’s not the thermostat that causes pressure, it’s the radiator cap and the normal expansion of the coolant when it warms up. And no you can’t run without a radiator cap.
