How to empty out the gas tank?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A mechanic told me that it seems like my gas tank has water in the bottom I
would need to empty out the tank and add ethanol free gas, Need help on how
to safely empty out the gas tank to eliminate the water in it.

I would try a few bottles of Heet if the car runs before removing the tank and draining it.
