Some vehicles you can just remove the positive battery terminal for about 10 seconds and reinstall and other vehicles need to be reset with the hand held computer and also if the part was replaced that the code said was bad it will automatically reset itself once the computer senses the the part has been replaced and working now this usually take about 30 minutes to an hour.
