I use Autolite platinum ($3) it comes with NGK (ACDelco) Iridium, but they are way too pricey and don't give you much advantage because the 5.3 isn't a very high compression engine (By the way, don't remove plugs from an hot engine, and DO NOT overtighten them when you put them back in, go with about 25 foot pounds of torque, and put anti seize compound on the threads if you ever want to get them out again). I would run 2 cans of sea foam or some other cleaner in the gas tank before changing plugs, and change the air filter if dirt comes out when you smack the filter if i were you. How many miles on the Burb?

Don't forget to gap them if they aren't platinum.

Check the gap on any plug, they don't always come gapped right even if they're supposed to, sorry forgot to mention.
