Is it possible that you might consider "not placing" the featured listing in the middle of another person's listing?

Asked by Oct 24, 2017 at 07:57 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet SSR

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I find it totally distracting as a consumer (the featured ad in the middle of
another ad - "Featured" to me sounds like it is the one being viewed) - put it
at the end as in "other vehicles you might consider".  When it is in the middle
of someone's ad that I assume they are paying for, it isn't fair to the seller or
the buyer
Now I am filling in something for you (as I submit this) and it says "Select
trim"  You do not seem to take anything about options into account when you
give your Guru estimate of value.  Speaking for the Chevy SSR, mostly $20 -
$30k value, they can differ by $5k based on the RPO's. Your analysis is
based on not knowing the options - therefore is worth nothing to the
knowledgeable consumer and dangerous for the less than knowledgeable
consumer.  Often you may be correct, but what you say is over priced may
not be and what you say is a great buy often is a dud. I would say get out of
the evaluation game unless you are all in and view the RPO's
On a mid $20k average vehicle (SSR) I see Guru numbers as high as $7k
under/over - hardly numbers I would trust
