Car won't start

My 2005 Chevy Malibu fan came on after I shut the
car off and it stayed on for a few minutes I went
out to check and I wasn't sure if that was normal
so I tried cranking the car on and off and it wouldn't
stop now the next morning I go back in the car
wont start

sound like the fan control modual failed internally.
