2007 Subaru Impreza Wagon?

Asked by Apr 25, 2017 at 11:55 AM about the 2007 Subaru Impreza

Question type: General

Okay, so I need to know exactly what type of
vehicle this is, like I see the 2.1 and stuff how can I
tell? What does that even mean? I don't know much
about cars, but it's a Subaru 2007 Impreza wagon.
What I wanna know is what can I add to it? Like
cold air intake, fog lights, exhaust, etc. I can't afford
a WRX or an STI, I'm a student and am on
disability...I don't think it has a turbo in it but it is
pretty fast. Got it for free for building some
computers for some guys. It's in excellent
condition, had three mechanics check it out. (One
was a close friend)

Thanks a lot guys!

2.1 would be the size of the engine, measured in liters.

There NEVER been a 2.1L Subaru.

What your pic shows is a common 2.5i Imp. Absolutely forget CAI, as it breathes as fine as it ever can, being a low rpm grunter. Same with exhaust. Keep 10W+ oil and coolant in it religiously and save your money for a head gasket job eventually. Keep 35F/33R psi to help eco, as it eats more fuel than you'd expect. 205/5516 tires are perfect...don't waste money on 17's unless you already have them. 2006-2007 were the best-handling Imp 2.5i made, so enjoy it, loudness and brittle ride notwithstanding.
