2007 torrent temperature gauge not reading correctly. All other gauges working fine. The car is not running hot or overheating. I changed the temperature control sensor and the problem is still there.

I cannot find any help with the location of the sender. Any ideas?

on mine sometimes goes half or full right around and never gets hot . I found if you turn the key off and on { not to start position } and the needle will work its way back to normal and stay at normal operating . Does it every now and then , and been doing that for couple of years now . Garage said i need a whole new cluster assemble for mega bucks and to install . I was told with the key think by another mechanic and will save you dollars . and can hurt nothing or damage your vehicle . John .
