how do i take out the stock stereo

i have a 2005 chevrolet Aveo and i am puting in a amp and i need to know how to take out the stereo so i can hock up the amp i have to it for my subs

There should be a plastic black covering around the radio that will pop off if you gently push a flat head screwdriver behind the plastic molding. It should just be held in by small clips and should pop out.

Yep. Take the two outer plastic pieces off (just pull on em) on both sides of the radio, then you'll see two Phillips screws on each side. Just take em out and you can pull the stereo right out.
