Door had been working fine and then the other day I went out to get in the van and the passenger side manual sliding door will not open from the outside or inside.

you will have to remove the inside door panel to see what has let go

Mine slider also sticks, but it's the back edge catching on the door jamb, and pulling (or pushing) outward on that side is our quirky solution. I suppose the hinges/ rollers could also be adjusted.
