1989 idling too fast

Asked by Jun 22, 2017 at 11:34 PM about the 1989 Pontiac Sunbird

Question type: General

I was driving when my car started increasing the idle.  I can't get it to go back to
a normal idle.  I changed the fuel filter, could that have effected something.

1 Answer

throttle cable may need adjusting or it could be running very lean.
