Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have an orginal super clean 1967 Convertible Firebird with original straight six OHC engine.  I have an idea how much it is worth just looking for what you think.

sounds like a nice car . should be worth a few thousand if it's all that clean. being a convertible is a plus.what shape is the roof in ? how many miles ,brakes disc or drums ? p/s,a/c, p/b? definately a good car to plant a 400ci.

the ohc 6 was a rare engine used for just 4 years,66-69. depending on condition and originality, your firebird could be worth up to 25k.

The "super clean" condition and low miles will be more important than the OHC 6. Unfortunately, most people buying these cars seem to want the bigger engines that were available. A good way to get a value might be to ask for an insurance quote from a classic car insurer that offers agreed value coverage. Their estimate may give you a realistic, and independant, opinion.

If it's a sprint, it's probably worth $12-15K, if it's the base I-6, it's probably worth $5-10,000 depending on shape. Unfortunately Firebirds are not worth what their Chevy cousins are, and the I-6 is not a very desirable motor, despite being rare, unless it's a sprint.

6 cylinder firebirds are not worth nowhere near 30 grand , unless it's a CPO. firebirds with 400 & 4 speed tranny or the 400 turbo tranny are the most popular & those go for around 20-35 thousand. the straight six was not such a great performing engine which is why more people went with the 350 or 400. got ant pictures of it?

depending on who you sell it to, and whether or not its in as good of condition as it sounds you're probably looking at around 15-20k. not quite the condition it sounds like, then maybe 12k

A all numbers matching 1967,68 & 69 OHC Sprint Convertible Fire Bird in showing and winning condition can be worth as much as 50k. There are not that many left and the body tag coding is also very important. I have a 67 that I Hagerty covers for 50k.
