make sure it's a strong enough spark , check the rest of the ignition parts , what do the plugs look like ?

Spark is good plugs are new also air adjust screw onT B. has little effect

It runs when i get it started but have to keep rpms up and sometimes it will idle starts the next morning no problem drive for half hour then it wont start

air adjust screw sounds like what a carburetor has to even out the idle , spray some carb cleaner down the throttle , check any loose/broken vacuum hoses , you may have an intake leak if you can apply carb. cleaner on the gasket you can see if the idle changes otherwise there's a smoke test , around 1985 carburetors were on the way out , transition years , so not sure what you have

I have throttle body air adjust screw has little effect i put in a new crank pos. Sensor it helped got it running but its still not running good timed it also new gaskets on throttle body also also put new cthermostat. And choke control on throttle body

pull a few spark plugs see if it's running rich , ie. black soot in tailpipe , did this vehicle sit for a while ? try octane booster in gas tank
