Has ANYONE ever heard of an RDX getting damage done to it by improper lifting on a hoist?? Specifically the drivers door rubbing on the front fender?? THANKS!!

It is possible you would have to take a close look underneath and look for witness marks from hoist that could have caused the problem. If the hoist did cause this you would see some evidence on bottom of fender or along rocker panel under door. What sometimes happens is the shop will have the door partially open while working on it. When it is set down something is under door edge and weight of car will bend door hinges. In any case should be some witness marks to show the cause.
