i fill up my car, it runs good. when it gets down a few gallons, whenever i make a right hand turn going over 30 mi. an hr. it stalls out. i just bought this car and never had this problem before.

Sounds like the fuel pump may be going out, or responding to gas sloshing around in the tank. I would have the fuel pump checked first.

Sorry to take so long to have found this and I hope that it is already repaired but the problem with the shutting off is the gas tank needs replaced. Common MKI VW problem.

hi, check your fuel pump has not come losse you will find this in between the back wheel and the rear jacking point, hope this helps

There is a fuel hose inside the gas tank. When it rots away the motor will starve for fue on right hand turns. You might be able to replace the hose by going in under tha back seat. In my opinion your best bet is to buy a new gas tank. They are cheap and the hose is a pain to replace.
