Heard a small bang as I was driving and air filter loose Jeep stalling

Asked by Matthew Feb 01, 2017 at 01:55 AM about the 2007 Volkswagen Touareg

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi.  On my volkswagen Jeep I only bought a few
days ago. I heard a small. Bang or felt something
go and it began to stall.  When I Pullen over and
opened the bonnet its air pipe from the engine was
off the pin went on it.  I drove it home which was
only a minute away at the time but it was stalling
all the way home.  Is it just a matter of a new pin to
keep the pipe in place or is there something
serious wrong with that Jeep I only bought it last
week

Should have this looked at, there may be some damage to the Mass Air Flow Sensor. It is in the air inlet tube running to the throttle body.
