My truck has 75 Mustang front axel.  I want to install 67 Ford 289 but oil pan must be reversed due to axel position.  Can I do this and what do I do about
oil pump.  Pump driven by front mounted distributor

I know this can be done, you'll have to find the correct pick-up tube for the oil pump and the oil pan. Just take a look on line for the set-up.
