How can I get access to glove box & storage tunk without a key?.

I recently acquired a 1974 beetle by way of abandonded property title. I was able to make an ignition/door key from a code found on handle, but how can get a key made for the glove box, or how can I access it without damage.

Call around to local locksmiths and explain the situation, one of them may be able to make a new key by impressioning.
