A 14 year old re-build / restore, needs to hold up very well to come in around $10k, the 70's bugs are still lagging behind the Air Cooled price boom. At $10k, the car should be 100% correct and a show winner. 70's bugs are awesome and still a very good value, but still loom around the single digits.

Thanks TTRUIT I appreciate the info . I took the VW BEETLE for another ride yesterday and decided it wasn't really a good daily driver for my wife and I it smelled like gas and didn't seem like the car for us . I have decided to get the 1976 CORVETTE for $4500 I feel I can't really go wrong at that price what are some things inexpensive upgrades to make the engine look better and maybe add a little HORSEPOWER TO IT

I have a 1972 convertable Super Beetle that I'm going to sell. It needs a new top and some body work. It has approximately 148,000 on the original chasis but only a little over 6000 on a rebuilt motor. I'm wondering what it is worth can anybody help?
